Faculty and Staff Vaccination Requirement
Any current faculty or staff member who has not updated their vaccination status should do so immediately. Faculty and staff who have not yet provided proof of vaccination, are required to report for weekly surveillance testing.
All new University of Notre Dame faculty and staff members are required to provide their vaccination status within two days of their employment start date.
As part of the University’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement, all members of the faculty and staff are required to receive a COVID-19 booster. The deadline to receive your COVID-19 booster is Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 (or if you are not yet eligible by Jan. 21, as soon as you are six months past your original vaccination with Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccines, or two months past a Johnson & Johnson vaccine).
COVID-19 Booster Availability
Faculty and staff may receive the booster vaccination at any off-campus location or at the University’s on-campus booster vaccination clinic on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022.
The on-campus clinic will be hosted inside Gate 2 of the Edmund P. Joyce Athletic & Convocation Center (Joyce Center) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer the Pfizer-BioNTech booster vaccine.
Faculty and staff must register for an appointment at the on-campus clinic in advance:
Document your Vaccination
Documentation for faculty and staff who receive a booster vaccination at the on-campus vaccine booster clinic will be updated automatically.
For booster vaccinations received off campus, faculty and staff should upload documentation to the booster vaccination portal.
Faculty and Staff should update their status in PyraMed after their initial vaccination is complete.
Those who did not receive an exemption previously but wish to do so for the booster may do so. Apply for an exemption.
Faculty and staff with an existing exemption from the vaccine requirement must continue to participate in weekly on-campus surveillance testing and to mask indoors while on campus for the 2022 Spring Semester. Those who are vaccinated but are granted a booster exemption will be required to follow these same health and safety protocols.
